| Our
History:
Dunbar Construction specializes in commercial, equestrian,
metal building and custom residential construction and has
grown steadily since its inception in January 2001. Founder
Chad M. Dunbar, born and raised in Central Florida, completed
his collegiate career by earning a Master's Degree in Business
Administration from Stetson University. Chad's professional
career began in the early 1990's as Director of Operations
and Construction for a major petroleum company and later as
Project Manager for a respected mid-size general contracting
firm. After several years of hands-on-experience in all phases
of construction, Chad established Dunbar Construction. |

We
have been fortunate enough to have completed numerous projects
for a client base ranging from international corporations to small
businesses and governmental agencies to individuals. Last year
Dunbar Construction had its best year yet, achieving annual revenues
of nearly $4,000,000. Our company has chosen to operate on the
principle of low overhead, not high volume. This allows Dunbar
Construction to give your project the personal service you should
expect from a professional general contractor.

Safety is our #1 priority. Dunbar Construction is committed
to the safety, health and well being of its' Employees, Subcontractors,
Suppliers, Clients, Visitors and the General Public and we
consider no phase of operations or administration of greater
importance than safety. Anyone entering a Dunbar Construction
jobsite is required to comply with Dunbar Construction's Safety
Program, the project owner's safety and security requirements,
and all federal, state, and local safety standards and requirements,
including OSHA. Safety is stressed with every member of our
construction team through published safety guidelines and
periodic jobsite construction safety meetings. Our Project

Technology:
At Dunbar Construction, technology plays a key role in the management
of our projects and our business. We are rapidly adapting to new
ways of thinking that will enable us to better serve our customers.
After Chad witnessed a former employer, who had been in business
for several years, struggle with the transition from basic accounting
software to a high powered accounting and construction management
software, he made the decision to make an investment in Sage's
Master Builder software soon after starting Dunbar Construction.
Our early implementation of Master Builder, an industry specific
accounting and construction management software package has proven
vital to our success. It has allowed us to effectively and efficiently
manage three critical areas of our business - production, accounting
and analysis, by using one comprehensive, easy-to-use business

Our Integrated Construction Sites - Until recently, the information
available at our jobsites was predominantly paper-based. One
of the main issues with a paper based field environment is
that you are rarely dealing with real time information. We
have made a concerted effort to implement networking and wireless
technologies at each of our jobsites. At its most basic level,
this technology allows us direct and real-time access to e-mail,
the internet, and the home office server; bridging the gap
from office-based design and management systems to the field
environment. We are also able to accurately and promptly communicate
jobsite information to the home office and to our clients
& subcontractors. Accessing current weather conditions and
conducting periodic safety meetings via video on our field
computers are two more ways that these technologies benefit
our field operations on a daily basis. |
